Email Client Configuration
When configuring your email client, such as Outlook, Mail, or Thunderbird, please use these settings:
Mail Type: POP3 for your primary computer. IMAP for other devices, such as laptop, smart phone, or tablet. If your primary computer is a laptop, choose POP3 when setting-up email.
Incoming Mail Server: deda077.mivamerchant.net
Username: your complete email address.
Password: Um, enter your password.
Enable SSL/TLS encryption
Port: 995 for POP
993 for IMAP
Outgoing Mail Server: deda077.mivamerchant.net
Enable SSL/TLS encryption (With some versions of Thunderbird you may use STARTTLS on port 587 with a Normal password, instead of selecting SSL)
Outgoing Port: 587 (for either POP or IMAP)
Sending mail through our server requires authentication, so enable this option for Outgoing Mail. Type is Password. You can use the same settings as Incoming.
Please find the setting in your email client that says something like 'remove email from server...', turn it on, and enter the number of days you'd like your email client to remove email. e.g. one week or 14 days.
UnCheck: My server requires secure password authentication
Optional, but recommended: look for an option to delete mail immediately when you delete it on your computer.

There are other tabs for Forwarding, Email Aliases, Auto-Reply, and Spam Filter, if you need any of those services.
Returned email: relay access denied
If you're getting a returned email that says something like 'Relay access denied' or 'does not allow relaying', check the setting for your email account in your email program. The server requires authentication for sending, so make sure that option is on. In Outlook, you can 'Use same settings as incoming'.

How to view quarantined email/spam?
Enter your email address (this is the email address @ your domain name, not your gmail account or yahoo account, etc.) & your password. If you don't have a password yet, click on "Forgot your password or need to create a password?” you can create a new password.
This console is where quarantined emails are held. Quarantined emails are emails that are most likely spam. Email that is 100% probable of being spam is flat-out denied and you won’t ever see it.
To view quarantined email, click on the Email Protect tab, then the Quarantine tab.
From the Search Criteria section, Domain drop-down menu, select your domain name. All quarantined emails will now appear.
